20) Don’t send all of your dwellers into the wasteland at the same time.
Only send as many as you can afford to lose. Don’t send anywhere near all of them. Be sure that you can still manage to keep your vault afloat with the ones you leave behind. This includes dwellers coming back from the wasteland or new dwellers who do not yet have a residence. You can let them sit outside of the vault and they will not use any resources. Their happiness will not decrease either, nor will it count toward your overall total, so let them sit out there for as long as you want.

In my game, I have 8 explorers, and as you know they can collect weapons, outfits, and caps. These people eventually are going to die due to attacks and losing their green . You can use caps to revive them. So when you can keep the explorers alive for a longer time, they will gather more weapons through lunchboxes.
After you do this glitch you will be having more than 2000 caps to save the explorers.To make this glitch work, you have to minimize the game and go to the date settings and move a day further. Here I moved from Jun 7 to Jun 8.
Now go back to the game. It takes some time to load up but it will eventually load and you will have a lot of caps that can be used to revive all the people. If you are in short of caps, you can do this trick again and get more caps. You can also go back in time, but using is glitch.
