fov X : Changes the players field of view. Default is 70, no higher than 110is recommended.

kill : Kills the targeted actor.

player.modav carryweight # : Permanently modifies players max weight

player.resethealth : Resets health to full, leaves radiation.

tmm 1 : Reveal all map markers

player.setav : Sets actor values to a given amount(S.P.E.C.I.A.L., skills, resistances, AP, health, etc). Using setav will affectperks and unlock new perks.

player.setav speedmult xx : Sets player movement speed. For example, a valueof 120 would be a 20% faster speed.

setownership : Sets the ownership of an item to yourself, so you can take itwithout consequences.

setgs fPowerArmorPCArmorDamageMultiplier : Sets the value of the rate at whichthe player character's power armor degrades due to damage

getav CA_affinity (after targeting a companion) : Tells you the affinity yourcompanion has for you, most companions max out once they are over 1000.

tfc : toggles free camera mode (useful for character screenshots)

tim : Toggles Immortal Mode

tcl : Toggles no clip mode (walk through walls, fly etc. will still be seenand reacted to normally by enemies)

tai : Toggles the AI on or off on a targeted actor. When off will cause themto simply stand in place and not react to anything.

tcai : toggles the combat AI. Actors in combat will not act, but can bekilled.

tm : Toggles User Interface (useful for screenshots)

Unlock : Unlocks a given door, container, or terminal.

player.modav : Works the same as setav however is treatedas a temporary increase like those provided by gear, and so will not unlock newperks on the perk tree.

First, get Dog (or some other companion) and go back to Sanctuary. Get the 'You'reSpecial' book under the crib and pick it up and use it. Now that it's in yourinventory, drop it back on the ground and have your dog/companion pick it up, BUT,just before they pick it up, you need to quickly pick it up.
If you can do it correctly he will drop the item and it will still be in yourinventory. Pick up the copy Dog dropped and you should have 2 'You're Special'books. You can drop both on the ground and one should now activate again.
You can also get more than just two special items. You can do that by:

1. Drop special book and clone it.
2. Drop both books and pick up.
3. Drop 1 book and clone it.
4. Drop all books then pick up.
5. Repeat step 3 and 4 until desired stats are reached.

To turn on console codes, you the ' key (it's next to the Enter key). This isdifferent from previous Fallout games that used the ~ key.

First, you'll need to find a vendor with any type of ammo. Once there, purchaseall of any type of ammunition so that it gets sent to your side of the screenduring the transaction, BUT DO NOT confirm the purchase!
Click on the ammo on your side of the transaction screen. Choose to give 1 ammoback to the vendor.
Repeat the above actions, but this time give all the rest of the ammo back (withdifferent ammo).
Send all of the original ammo back to the vendor as well. If you did thiscorrectly you should still have one of the ammo on your side of the transactionscreen that you can infinitely click on to get all of the vendor's caps!

After you select your single infinite ammo, you can purchase all of the additionalammo that the Barter has created from this process. You can do this repeatedly toget caps infinitely faster. This glitch works with pretty much anything as asubstitute for the second ammo, as long as you take all of the second item fromthe vendor.

Outward is all about survival. It offers a deeply-rewarding challenge for the most avid gamers. To get the most out of the game, you might need to use cheats when stuck. This article will guide you in the available cheats and how to apply them.

If you have played different versions of the game, then you probably know that the PC version of Outward allows players to have much more control over the game using the debug mode.

Debug mode

Debug Mode is a modified game state in Outward. There are various helpful tools when Debug Mode is active such as restoring backup saves or spawning lost items.

How to activate debug mode

1. Create an empty Notepad file and save it as ‘DEBUG.txt’.
2. Add the blank file into the ‘Outward_Data’ folder.

Developer-only features

These features can be found on menus that can be accessed using the F1, F2, F3, and F4 buttons.

Item spawner (F1)

The item spawner can spawn almost every item in the game. This includes armors and weapons. For stackable items, you can spawn multiple at once by selecting the item and dragging the “Quantity” bar at the bottom to the right.

Player & environment cheats (F2)

You can manipulate certain attributes of the gameplay character and the environment using this feature. These are some of the cheats found in this menu and what they do:

1. Invincible: The player cannot be hurt once activated.
2. Enable Mana: Grants the player 100 Mana.
3. I’m Stuck: Moves the player to a nearby scene.
4. Enemy-Invincible: Makes enemies invincible.
5. Area Switch: Teleports the player to any scene in the game.

Skills (F3)

This menu allows you to unlock all the skills for your gameplay character.

Quests (F4)

This menu allows you to track your progress in whichever quest you are partaking in. It also allows you to change the outcome of the quest.

If you were unable to complete a quest, you can go and change the outcome to show that you’ve completed it.

Other features include:

1. Numpad 1 – Slow-motion gameplay.
2. Numpad 4 – Kills self.

For those playing the game on PS4 and Xbox, the cheats are a bit different. Here are the cheats available for both consoles:

Code sonic

To enable Code Sonic, you simply need to name your character “Code Sonic” when you create it. This will enable an option in the in-game menu called Super Speed, which greatly increases the player’s sprinting speed and changes the sprint animation to a Sonic-like roll.

Legacy chests

When you create a new character, you can select “Legacy” on the character creation screen to inherit items from a previous character. To set up a Legacy, the first character must deposit items into the Legacy Chests located in the game. There are four Legacy chests:

1. Inside a locked area in the Cierzo Storage
2. Inside the Vigil Pylon in Enmerkar Forest
3. In the Slide in Abrassar
4. Inside the Spire of Light in the Hallowed Marsh

Each can hold one item, allowing the second character to inherit up to four Legacy items. The new character must travel to each chest to get the item from inside of it. Certain items will be upgraded when obtained through a Legacy, giving an advantage to using the Legacy chests.

Health comeback

Combat in Outward is brutal and you will need to refill your health a lot. The game offers different ways by which you can heal yourself. The easiest to heal yourself quickly is by using bandages. They also are easy to craft, using only 2 pieces of linen. This is one of the most useful Outward cheats.

Safe zone

Look for locations that have butterflies when you want to set up your tent/bedroll for the night as they notify you that you are in a safe zone and will not be attacked during the night.

Enemy of my enemy

One of the nice things about Outward is that no one seems to like each other. You can use this to your advantage to help swing a fight in your favor.

Are some Bandits bothering you? Lead them into a pack of wild animals. This allows you to win fights without even lifting your weapon.
